The VGRC Community Association sponsors a highly successful series of activities and events each season. Educational seminars feature an array of topics and speakers in such areas as medicine, law, current issues, grieving, garden tips and more. For four years in the month of January the Community Association has sponsored its very popular Bikearama. This event in collaboration with a local bike shop gives bike enthusiast an opportunity to go through a free maintenance and safety check. T. For the fourth consecutive year, in early January, Bike – O – Rama IV, just in time for that long ride on the Legacy Trail. Shredfest takes place during the season allowing residents to bring their “stuff” to the River Club parking lot to an awaiting Shredding Truck. The Laurel Rd. Clean-Up and Flag Placement across the community honoring our vets are two activities where volunteers are needed.
All events and activities are held at the River Club unless noted. Seminars are about an hour in length and in respect to the decorum of the event, we ask audience members to remain until the event is concluded.
